 Best Western Historic Frederick ia 1.6-mile drive from the Weinberg Center for the Arts, this modern hotel is 1.8 miles from the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, and in addition, not far from downtown Frederick where there are plany of resturants and breweries. All of the simple rooms and suites offer free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, desks, minifridges and coffeemakers. Suites add separate living areas and pull-out sofas. Complimentary amenities include breakfast and parking. There’s a seasonal outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center, as well as a business center and meeting facilities.

 

CAMPING

Camping is available on the Thurmont Club grounds. All sites with hook-ups include water, electric and use of bath house facilities. There are no sewage hookups however there is a dumping station at the club. There are approximately 50 campsites total, so camping with hook ups is limited. Dry camping is unlimited. Pre-registration for camping is required. The price for campsite with hook ups (water and electric) is $25 per night. We also have some primitive camp sites which have no water or electric hook ups. The price for primitive camp sites is $5 per night and includes use of showers.
